I’m Elle, the artist and creator behind C’est Elle Art, thanks for popping in! I’d love to share a little about me and how we got here! 💖

The journey 🎨

Back in 2020, when we all found ourselves with far too much free time, I rediscovered an old box of half-dried acrylic paints that I'd impulse-bought and then immediately forgotten about. With no experience and nothing to lose, I started painting for friends and family, based on whatever random requests they threw my way. The joy I found in creating art for others during such a turbulent time has stuck with me ever since.

As I began exploring new mediums and muses, I found inspiration in the vibrant online art communities. In 2020, I launched Fempower Art, a digital art project centered on bold portraits and figurative pieces that celebrated femininity in all its multifaceted glory. This work laid the creative foundation for what would eventually become...

C’est Elle ✨

Fast forward to now, C’est Elle Art is my renewed, rebranded and refocused creative project. The name itself is a creative statement: translated as “It’s Her Art”, and loosely interpreted as “She Is Art”. It’s all about embracing authenticity, being unapologetically yourself, and celebrating the beauty of just being. For me (Elle), the name also comes with a promise to always put myself into the work.

Inspired by everything I’ve loved on this creative journey and my new home in Brighton, C’est Elle Art is vibrant, girly, messy, eclectic, and personal. Through digital illustrations, short animations, and the occasional painting, I create work that celebrates self-expression, tells small stories, and is sometimes just plain silly.
